This rare Russian Mosin Nagant Model 1891/30 socket bayonet is an authentic WWII-era piece used extensively by Soviet troops. It combines the classic cruciform blade of the original Model 1891 with the improved socket and press stud locking mechanism developed in 1930 by E. K. Kabakow and J. A. Komaricki.

Key details:

  • 432 mm blued cruciform blade tapering to a flattened screwdriver point
  • Socket stamped with the serial number of the Mosin-Nagant rifle it was originally issued with
  • Additional original Cyrillic stamps on the socket
  • Press stud locking mechanism functions perfectly
  • Overall very good condition

A strong original example of the famous Soviet WWII socket bayonet, ideal for collectors of Mosin Nagant rifles, Russian military history, and World War II edged weapons.
