The StreamLight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X is a 1,000 lumen weapon-mounted light featuring a fixed mount for MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails or with the included MLOK mount allowing for alternative mounting options to MLOK and MLOK compatible rail systems. It uses either a remote pressure switch or a standard push-button tail cap switch, and can run on multiple battery types.

Light=Awsome, Light mount=ok, wont fit certain guns due to large tension knob, Pressure Pad=Sticky tape to mount to pic rail sections=sucks. Pad need a direct pick or m- lock design.

I recently purchased the Streamlight ProTac HL-X from Arms Unlimited. I received my items fast and the installation was a breeze. This light puts out the perfect amount of flood and throw for its intended application (rifle light for home defense or at the range). I find the Kelvin color to be perfect, its not to yellow or too blue. The rail mount locks up right and tight and has held up well after firing a few hundred rounds. For anyone looking for a solid weapon light that offers the most value for your money this is the one. Buy with confidence!
This is the best light for the price. The light has a good hot center and decent spill. Can also take a beating. This is my second Streamlight. I’ve had another one for quite some time and still works like a champ.
Streamlight is the best option for quality lights at reasonable prices. As a former medic, I’ve been using (& a fan of) their handheld lights for years. They offer options to fit any possible need you might have for a flashlight. First responders need tough lights that work. That’s equally or more important on your home defense firearm.
