The StreamLight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X is a 1,000 lumen weapon-mounted light featuring a fixed mount for MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails or with the included MLOK mount allowing for alternative mounting options to MLOK and MLOK compatible rail systems. It uses either a remote pressure switch or a standard push-button tail cap switch, and can run on multiple battery types.

Firstly. Great light! Bright and durable. The pressure switch is great although be careful where you place it on the weapon as it’ll get activated and drain the battery. I personally own 5 or 6 of these. My county SRT also has these on our issued SBRs. We especially utilize the strobe feature when clearing structures. The Only downside is the size. It’s not huge like older GWOT Surefires but it’s a bit bulky. The only suggestion for a change would be a better mounting platform for the pressure switch. That’s why 4 outa 5 stars. Overall opinion both professionally and personally this is an amazing, quality affordable light. I’m a Deputy Sheriff, Special Response Team member and prior Air Force Security Forces CATM.

Streamlight makes a wide variety of decent lights that don't break the bank. Bright, tough, and compatible with a lot of aftermarket upgrades and accessories. The HL-X is something I'd easily recommend to anyone looking for a light to add onto their home defense rifle, shotgun, or any other weapon that can reasonably accommodate it. The light does stick out a bit wide off your gun when mounted with included hardware. If this bothers you, you can grab a mount of your choice from Arisaka Defense for under $50.
Great light at a great price!
This light has excellent reviews but it is easy to get counterfeits from many sources. Arms Unlimited had the best price and it was a legit device.
