The StreamLight ProTac Rail Mount HL-X is a 1,000 lumen weapon-mounted light featuring a fixed mount for MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails or with the included MLOK mount allowing for alternative mounting options to MLOK and MLOK compatible rail systems. It uses either a remote pressure switch or a standard push-button tail cap switch, and can run on multiple battery types.

only had the flashlight for a couple weeks so far. Works fine on my 6.5 grendel with a magpul offset mlok to picatinny rail. The mount is built into the flashlight though, so keep that in mind.
Mounted on my HD AR. Easy to mount and reprogram.
After paying almost three times as much for the similar Surefire version, I switched over to this light to try it out. Not only is the light brighter and more of a “white light vs a natural light” (yellowish), but it’s got the same mounting options and way less in price. I use the Cloud Defensive switch mounts in combination with this light and use them on my professional use rifles. I would not doubt the use of this light in a combat situation. Lastly, the price on this site and the expedient shipping were phenomenal.
I saw some negative reviews on this weapon light...After speaking with Streamlight I figured I'd try one. i mounted on Colt M4 with a bayonet mount rail...dead center and far foward as possible...No issues what so ever..very bright light. Im a gun guy and x military...ive never been issued or bought another brand other than Surefire...But with no stupid keys,simple rail mount and life time warranty...Time to try one.

Very bright light, but the remote activation switch could be a lot smaller. It makes it hard to mount the switch where I need it on my rifle set-up.
This flashlight is powerful and was to set up. The rubber brackets that are included make mounting the switch on the rail easy and very sturdy. This thing is bright!
I have the 625 lumen kit. Looking forward to using the 1000 lumen kit. I'm interested to see the actual battery life.
