Remington 870 12-gauge pump-action shotgun that was originally issued to law enforcement agencies for less-lethal operations. These shotguns were equipped with bright orange synthetic stock and forend (furniture) to clearly identify them as less-lethal platforms when loaded with beanbag or other less-lethal rounds.Despite the distinctive orange furniture, these are mechanically identical to standard Remington 870 shotguns. They are fully capable of firing conventional lethal 12-gauge ammunition (including buckshot and slugs) with no modifications required. Remington 870 'police surplus'
Ordered 2. Ordered 'police magnum'. Due to various m8x-ups, inventory issues. Got a Wingmaster, and an express. Still love the Wingmaster. Keeping 'as is' orange & all. Named her 'Ginger'. Sure, I could spend hours making her look pretty. But why ? She's a roadmap of scars, like me. She tells a story that shouldn't be re-written. Other one was an Express. If you know 870's.
