    I don't know if the 870 has been around as long as me, but I hunted with one, since I was 10. I'm now 76 and this shotgun is a classic. The Police Mag. is supposed to be held to higher standards than the other variants, and this one I purchased from AU meets all my expectations, and then some. Good price on it also.

    Shopped the net for this model shotgun. Other places that I searched were either sold out, or very high priced . I did not want one with rifle sights . Arms unlimited had the shotgun that I wanted at the lowest price, with extended magazine and bead front sight. I am a county Sheriff Deputy and this is my patrol shotgun. We used 870 Police Magnums throughout my career as a Memphis Police Officer. I trust them and they are built for long term use. Shoots great with 00 buckshot and rifled slugs.
