The PROTECH® Shield Support Hook is designed to reduce load-carrying fatigue during extended shield deployment by transferring a portion of the shield’s weight onto the user’s tactical carrier or plate rack. This L-shaped attachment creates a stable platform for the shield while allowing for quick donning and doffing of equipment.

It attaches easily via a snap mechanism to various modular webbing systems as well as webless tactical carriers and plate racks. Fully adjustable to accommodate different users and shield setups, the Support Hook is compatible with all PROTECH ballistic shields rated NIJ 0108.01 Type II and Type IIIA, and supports lengths up to 36 inches.
