Magtech/CBC 5.56x45 Ammo 77 Grain Sierra Open Tip Match

I bought a bunch of this and I've used up most of it as my benchmark round to determine the maximum accuracy of each of my rifles. It is also one of my favorite defensive rounds as it fragments well, although the Gold Dot soft point self defense round is my first choice. Since I bought the first 2000 rounds I've been trying to find this CBC 77 grain again. Seems like it sells out very quickly. Excellent excellent accuracy can shoot sub-MOA from a good rifle, completely reliable, and pretty fricken powerful.

A++ This is some great ammo folks. It is by far the most accurate ammo that I have fed my AR, at an awesome price. I ordered myself two cases, and it arrived within a week. I was a bit concerned that the ammo would end up dented or crushed, but I must say that I was very happy to see it arrive in tip top shape. Get it while you can, you will not find a better deal! Hands down the best 77 grain 5.56 bullet ever made. Sub moa out of my 18inch mk12 mod1 . Very pleased with the accuracy. Never had an issue with any of these rounds.

I have been using this ammo with my Armalite 18 inch SS barrel 1 in 8 twist rifle. So far grouping 0.56 inch @100 yards. Very accurate ammo. Chronograph shows 2681 feet/sec at 10 feet from muzzle from 18 inch SS barrel and St. Dev. of 20 feet/sec from 20 rounds. Spike's tactical mid length AR15 with 16 inch barrel shows 2657 feet/second with St. Dev. of 41 feet/sec with 20 rounds. For comparison IMI razor core 77gr OTM tested same day showed 2658 feet/sec with St. Dev. of 23.1 feet/sec from 18 inch barrel. Also, IMI from 16 inch mid length showed 2643 feet/sec with St. Dev. of 29 feet/sec. I really like Black Hills ammo. They are the best.

Consistently just over half-inch ten-shot groups at 100-yards through HCS Mk12 MOD 1, boringly accurate. At 200-yards the HCS Mk 12 MOD 1 shows five shot groups all under 1.6-inches. Shot through 16-inch mid-length PSA (FN CHF barrel) upper (non freefloat) and returns consistent one-inch five and ten-shot groups at 100-yards.
