This QD Rail Sling Mount works great on my Smith & Wesson M&P15T Tactical AR15. Very Well Built.

This is more robust than aftermarket attachments of this type. It is unfortunate that Magpul QD attachments will not work with other less expensive QD attachments, although some are just as good. Had I known this I never would have bought the MSI-4 sling. Too bad this part is 3 times the price of other aftermarket sling attachments. If you buy Magpul products be aware that keeping the cost of parts down by buying parts from other manufacturers will not work.

I ordered a Magpul RSA QD Rail attachment to allow more sling options for an AR-15. The item shipped and arrived very quickly. Quality appears to be high, as expected from MagPul . Waiting for a new sling to put the QD attachment to use.

This attachment is the quality you expect from Magpul. It perhaps could be lighter but overall doesn't retract from the problem it solves.

Attached securely to a 1913 rail. The nice thing is the general narrowness of the item, as opposed to some “lower” but wider options that require two slots. I’ve used before and will again. This is now placed on a Grand Power Stribog.

I purchased a couple of these Magpul QD mounts so I could use my preferred sling with rifles that didn’t have forward QD sockets milled into the rails. Being low profile and offset makes this QD socket quite versatile and allows attaching the sling away from optics, lights, etc. The 10/11 o’clock position works very well for my use. I do not have any hard use on it, but I expect it to do what it’s designed to do. I will likely buy another when I finish my next rifle build.
