Colt continues to take its battle and time proven M1911 pistol and adapt it to meet the changing requirements of its customers with its Close Quarter Battle Pistol. Where quality and workmanship are demanded, Colt once again meets and exceeds the expectations of its customers. This handgun is outfitted with new and exciting features. The Picatinny Rail offers the versatility to adapt tactical light and laser accessories to the receiver of the CQBP, making it a tactical pistol easily adaptable to any military.

More than 100 years ago, the Colt 1911 was chosen as the official sidearm for America’s Armed Forces. Today, a Colt 1911 is once again proudly serving at the side of our country’s military. After a rigorous selection process, the United States Marine Corps selected the Colt Rail Gun as their Close Quarters Battle Pistol (CQBP). This marks the first time since the end of World War II that a Colt 1911 is being shipped to the United States Government.

To honor the brave men and women of this important staple of America’s military might, the Colt CQBP will be made available in limited quantities. What makes the CQBP stand out is its Desert Tan Ion Bonded Stainless Steel Receiver and Slide, Novak® 3 Dot Night Sights and Flat, Serrated Mainspring Housing with Lanyard Loop. The pistol also features an Enhanced Hammer, Colt Tactical Ambidextrous Safety Lock, and a 5” National Match® Barrel.

    Smooth transaction fast shipping will be a return customer for sure. But this pistol is amazing I’m glad I purchased smooth trigger recoils like a 9mm will be my EDC for sure

    Colt has always been my “go to” for 1911’s. Although they always haven’t been “perfect” (pending on pricepoint), I always know it’s a 1911 THATS going to flat out WORK. This 1911 has over 2000 rounds thru it and I have yet to have a malfunction. It comes with two Wilson Combat magazines to ensure reliable function. This pistol is a part of American history and it’s a part of the great Colt brand. I hope that Colt (which is as. American as apple and Chevrolet will continue manufacturing quality firearms for at least another 100 years. This one is going to my kids I love it so much......

    Ordered and received a week later. Great pistol. Most reliable 1911 I’ve owned. Sold my Springfield TRP as this is way better. Feeds all hollowpoints and looks great. No scratches or blemishes. New carry gun. Love it.
