The gas blowback in the face of the operator is not only a nuisance but also a health risk, especially indoors. B&T addresses this issue with the RBS (reduced back pressure suppressor).

The low-pressure chamber design is able to absorb a significant amount of gas, drastically reducing the back pressure, making the RBS a great choice for semi-auto rifles and machine guns. While traditional suppressors will increase the cyclic rate by up to more than 30% due to back pressure, B&T RBS's unique design increases the cyclic rate by only 4%, which ultimately reduces both fouling and wear and tear on the gun.
