I was looking for ambi parts to round out my collection, so I picked up two of these. Installation wasn't difficult (just drop the hammer, loosen the grip screw, pop out the old safety). There are no instructions provided, but I guess it's up to you as to whether you want the curve going up or down...? The machining is very precise, but feel it should be beveled a bit, or possibly just chamfered, in order to dull the edges. I damned near cut myself on the edge of the switch when I first installed it, as there was a material anomaly just outside the safety detent hole on my receiver causing it to bind a bit and become very stiff. That's a problem with my receiver, not the ambi safety. Good value, maybe hit it with a dremel if you find it a bit sharp, but does its job!

Works fine but it's a bit bulky
The product works fine but if you are a left handed shooter the selector feature is very thick and will make contact with your index finger and will irritate it when firing rounds.

Quick install and functions as it should.
Bought this along with an ambi mag release. No issues installing the part and it works as it should. Can be installed facing up or down. I will agree with the other reviews saying it's a bit sharp around the edges. Not an issue if you wear gloves while operating. No stars lost for it being sharp though.

Great Price / Needs Some Work
Great price and machining. Needs a slight filet on the edge that makes contact with your thumb. I ended up taking some sandpaper to it to soften the edge. Had to whip out the spray paint after that.
