Protech SN106C Type IV Stand Alone Ballistic Plates | NIJ 0101.06

The PROTECH SN106C is a Type IV stand-alone hard armor plate offering armor-piercing protection in a multi-curve design. Independently tested to NIJ 0101.06 standards, it defeats the 7.62 x 63mm 166 gr M2 AP (30-06) threat as well as the 7.62mm NATO 147 gr M80 FMJ. Weighing approximately 7.50 lbs in the 10" x 12" Shooters Cut and measuring 0.91 inches thin, the SN106C provides an economical solution for first responders, patrol officers, and tactical teams facing rifle or armor-piercing risks.

A triple curvature design on the larger plates delivers a contoured fit to the upper torso and back for improved comfort and mobility. The 6" x 6" model uses a single-curve profile. Constructed from ceramic composite material and finished with a durable 1,000-denier Cordura nylon covering, the plates are backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
