Protech Assault II LW & Assault III LW Level III Ballistic Shields | Lightweight Rifle Protection with Triangular Viewport (16x30 & 20x36 Options)

The PROTECH® Assault LW series represents the next generation of Assault Shields, integrating NIJ Level III rifle protection into a lightweight profile. Utilizing the latest UHMWPE materials from Honeywell, these shields deliver high-performance ballistic protection while remaining practical for both tactical teams and patrol officers.

The Assault II LW (16" x 30") weighs approximately 14.8 lbs and features a triangular viewport that provides increased vertical visibility for the operator. Capable of stopping the 7.62 x 51mm, 147 gr. M80 FMJ (NATO) round, the Assault LW line is also proven against multiple special threats. In addition to standard NIJ 0108.01 testing, the viewport and bolts are tested, along with 1" edge shots, 30-degree angle shots, a 3-shot cluster, and three shots in a linear line.

The larger Assault III LW (20" x 36") extends coverage while maintaining the same advanced materials and performance standards. Both models are available with Horizontal or 3-Position handles and optional FoxFury B70 Integrated Light systems.
