Unlike conventional vertical fore-grips, the Magpul AFG2 (Angled Fore-Grip) takes into account natural body mechanics and provides a comfortable and stable user interface that reduces fatigue and allows for more precise weapon control. By positioning the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore, the AFG2 helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon, facilitating faster, more accurate follow-up shots.

The Magpul AFG2 is a slim line design that is shorter in overall length and width compared to the AFG. Smaller size allows for compatibility with a wider variety of rail systems, rail covers, and accessory mounts.

    I have a carbine lenth quad rail, and the length of this fore grip allows room for my bipod to be mounted along with. Positive hand placement and ergonomics are fantastic! A must have item.

    I installed this on cheap mlok rails which I had to shim to make a right fit. This fore grip is elegant. It's low profile and ergonomic at the same time

    Rail with vertical grip.

    Price and free shipping are great. 4 stars because the vertical grip is secured to the rail with a tightening adjustment on the bottom of the grip.Works fine when tightened. However there are two holes on the top of the grip used for fastening the grip to the rail with a machine screw and nut.(neither were enclosed.) I found a screw that fit the hole diameter,but that diameter is way smaller than the rail slots.Too much slop for the grip to tighten. Not sure why they are there as the bottom screw adjustment places a plastic pin into the rail slot,blocking the hole for screw. I ended up putting a dummy cut off screw head and nut in the respective holes for appearance only.

    This fore-grip works very well with my new bullpup. I like the stability it provides since the bullpup's over all length is 27in (short as expected) and I have long arms.
