The M79 40mm launcher is a single-shot, break-action, shoulder-fired grenade launcher developed for the US Army in the 1950s and officially adopted in 1960. Known as the "Thumper," it was designed to bridge the gap between hand grenades and mortar fire, offering infantry a way to deliver high-explosive 40x46mm rounds to a distance of up to 400 meters. First used in the Vietnam War, the M79 saw combat in conflicts throughout Asia then fielded again in limited capacity by SOCOM in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

First genuine battlefield-used M79s ever offered. These examples were fielded by US Navy SEALs during the Global War on Terror. Extremely limited. Once-in-a-lifetime collector opportunity for real deal M79s, NOT clones.
