Colt M16/M4/AR15 Magazine Release Button
Below are the available bulk discount rates for each individual item when you purchase a certain amount
Works OK for left shooter. The release does binde a little but that may work itself out. Would recommend to anyone to try for the price. Larger contact point is a plus.
This Ambidextrous Magazine Release is my choice on my LR-308 lowers. Having a larger button to release the mag easier to find in a fast shooting moment.
Great addition. I like this design a lot better than the other style AU sells. Easy to release mags and doesn't interfere with a standard bolt catch.
Awesome product and super easy to install
I really enjoyed installing these Ambi Mag Releases in my AR-10 or LR-308 DPMS Gen1 Style rifle. It's a great update for the buttons on my rifles it's easy to setup and helps with releasing the mag in a pinch the larger surface with a texture allows me to be confident when keeping my eyes down range and knowing that it can be found without looking down, for a small standard mag button or going to the other side. There are several makers to choose from but this one is my choice and being at the sale price it's the one I'm going with, I even put them on all my LR-308 rifles.
i love it
This is my second time reviewing this item as I think it’s good for others to know how it works after the minimal use I had at the time of previous review. First is I gave this time these five stars instead of four like last time since the sale price of $30 per(28.50 per for me since I bought four more)I feel is a fair price. Now to the new, only down fall I see about this mag catch is it does protrude quite a bit on the left side mainly since most all if not all lowers are built minus the extra metal like on the right side of the lower has around the standard mil spec button which is done so the mag release button can’t be accidentally pressed which the left side of the lower does not have so potential unintended mag drops could happen especially if you run any type of sling. With that said I’ve not had any issues regarding accidental mag release button hits. Also same thing in regards to transit as now I cannot leave the mag in the gun when put away/in transit in my carry cases or potentially the mag will come loose and potentially damage the gun. But those two things are the only down falls that really aren’t a big deal and everything else is all great about it. Just make sure you apply BEFORE install preferably some good lube(can’t remember name/type but the thick white type… think it’s lithium grease)to just the little tab that hits the lower when the buttons pressed so the button is smooth or it’s pretty gritty feeling but even then fully functional(just a tip). If you’ve found this page, consider yourself lucky and buy as many as you have AR’s since I can guarantee like me you’ll be back till you put one in all your AR’s just like I’m doing as I can afford. Just hoping AU will make us the .308 version of this same mag catch so we all can get the same great ambidextrous mag release for our bigger platform AR’s(hint hint AU;). Best ambidextrous mag catch I’ve seen or came across in well over a decade of looking. Thanks AU!
I'M RELLY LOVE THIS ITEM THANK YOU VERY MUCH
