The Colt M5 Carbine features a completely redesigned lower and upper receiver with full ambidextrous controls and an enhanced rail design which maximizes rail space, shooter comfort and ensures extreme rigidity.

Utilizing a proven carbine length gas system and a purpose designed free float rail system, weight and bulk have been reduced while maintaining the same lethality, accuracy and reliability expected from Colt.

With maximum performance and ergonomics as the most critical considerations during design, the Colt M5 Carbine is truly the next generation in a legacy of high performance rifles for the modern day warfighter.

    This rifle has everything you could want, and then some. ESPECIALLY for 1400 bucks there is nothing better. The upper, bolt, bolt carrier, and safety are all properly Colt marked.

    Nice Colt M5 Rifle

    First Colt rifle I’ve ever own, have many others but not a Colt. Very happy with this rifle, looked it over throughly and has all the colt markings, even the etched “C” on the bcg. The ambidextrous bolt catch and mag release are a very nice addition, upper receiver flow together with the handguard beautifully and the Colt engraving on both side of the handguard sets it off. Over all a well made rifle, a bit pricey but it’s a Colt.
