Colt M16/AR15 Complete Bolt Carrier Group Assembly

Recieved mine sept. 2019. Has the correct colt markings.

Count me among those whose BCG was damaged during shipping. It was shipped loose in a bubble envelope with an mp5 magazine, neither of which was wrapped or further protected. The magazine was scratched up by the BCG and the bag was obviously dropped at some point, as the gas key was damaged right out of the bag. In fact, it wouldn't smoothly fit into my upper until I used a punch to round out the opening on the gas key again. Product is great, as were the prices for the items and shipping, but with this many complaints, arms unlimited should reevaluate their packaging strategy.

It's a Colt !

It's a Colt, built to true mil-spec standard, but it's not C marked on the carrier.

Like another reviewer said, AU shipped it in a USPS bubble bag that got torn during shipment. Also, the bolt carrier is not “C” marked as I was expecting given the full price. None “C” marked complete Colt BCGs sell for significantly less ($75 less) on other sites. Still a Colt and a quality product, but that little “C” makes a difference.

Well for the first time AU kind of let me down. Free shipping? I can see why. They took the bolt in a plastic bag and tossed it in an envelope with no protection. Upon receiving (a loud thud from the mailman dropping it thru the slot) the bolt face was sticking out of the envelope. Lugs were scratched, side of carrier was scratched. All in all it looked like the USPS took full advantage of handling it rough. With no protection, bubble wrap or otherwise I can see why it showed up looking to thrown through the wringer. Sounded like sandpaper sliding back and forth in my upper even after cleaning, greased it again and seemed to go away. Well enough said on that, bolt headspaced good and seems to function fine now but have not been to the range. Other than the appearance/cosmetic damage due to poor packing its seems ok just disappointing to a brand new item show up looking used. Ya ya I know its gonna wear anyway, that's why I didn't return it.

I have many BCs, they all technically work, but the Colt stands out with better quality machining, better overall fit and finish. I'll go cheap on certain parts, but not critical components.

Really happy with it. Built a Colt M4 from scratch and this complete bolt just dropped right in. Very happy.
