The AMP-1E is a lightweight NIJ IIIA+ ballistic helmet designed for public safety operations including patrol, SWAT, and fire/rescue. It delivers reliable handgun and fragmentation protection with enhanced backface performance testing that limits average deformation to under 15 mm across various conditioning methods.

Constructed from Kevlar / woven aramid fiber, the AMP-1E offers a practical balance of protection, weight, and modularity. It is available in Full-Cut, Mid-Cut, and High-Cut styles and comes standard with CMR-1 side rails. Configurations include versions with no NVG holes or drilled for NVG with bungees (NVG shroud must be selected separately). Available in Black and Green.

The helmet features a comfortable adjustable harness and pad system with one-size-fits-most sizing for multi-shift use.
