    I haven't had a chance to shoot my latest acquisition but a close inspection reveals a great fit and finish of the firearm. Unfortunately Beretta did not include an owner's manual in the box, and I have not been received a response from their Customer Service in regards to getting a replacement.

    Having the 7+1 from the factory is great. The same goes for the cheek riser urbino stock (although I would still like a non pistol grip stock to have another configuration option). There was some concern that this was not a Gen 2 model, but it has the Gen 2 bolt release. It does not have the interchangeable choke system. That seems to be a little confusing when looking at this model on different sites. It would have been nice to have. It seems that everyone wants a Nordic barrel clamp. It would require modification to fit over the magazine cap on this model, but the clamp that is provided has a QD socket on both sides as well as mlock slots. I have t tried to mount my light on this yet , but am not too concerned about changing it out yet. The only complaint about the urbino stock is no qd socket. I like the stock length. You will miss out on LOP adjustment without the factory stock or finding the impossible to get adapter for magpul stock. the pic rail seems to be aluminum

    Haven't shot it yet, but communication was great and shipping was really fast. ETA: Finally got a chance to field strip to clean, lube, and swap safety to lefty. Whoever installed the Mesa stock crossthreaded the nut and damaged the threads on the receiver extension/stock rod. Also, the receiver top rail is polymer. Also, I was told this is a Gen 2, but they come with an aluminum top rail.
