Barnes Subsonic 308 Win Ammo 205 Grain Sierra GameKing | Suppressor Series

Box of 20 Rounds, Order 10 Boxes for a Case.

Barnes Suppressor Series .308 Winchester Subsonic Ammo is a purpose-built load engineered specifically for quiet performance out of suppressor-ready, manually operated firearms. This specialty cartridge pairs a heavy 205-grain Sierra GameKing Hollow Point Boat-Tail (HPBT) projectile with premium brass and clean-burning propellants formulated to limit carbon buildup inside suppressor baffles. Leaving the muzzle at a quiet 1,060 fps with 512 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, the bullet comfortably stays below the sound barrier to eliminate sonic crack while maintaining tight velocity consistency. Unlike traditional match-grade subsonics, the Sierra GameKing projectile is structurally optimized to yield reliable expansion at slower, subsonic velocities. This makes it a formidable tool for close-range medium game hunting and target shooting, provided it is shot from bolt-action platforms as the reduced gas pressure will not cycle semi-automatic actions.

This load is not designed to cycle semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle platforms. While it may be fired in these firearms, the action will not cycle and the bolt must be manually charged after each shot.
