    Excellent

Posted by Daniel F. on 1st Mar 2017

Fit and finish are excellent, mag changes while shooting with the off-hand are much more convenient, the ambi part works the same as standard magazine release and isn't stiff like some after market parts tend to be. Worth the money

    Inexpensive upgrade

Posted by Sammy on 1st Mar 2017

This was an inexpensive upgrade for my AR15 that is well built like everything AU makes. I also bought one of their ambi safety selectors, they really compliment one another, less than $50 for both. Great deal!

    Quality Knock off

Posted by Nick on 16th Feb 2017

I'm a left and thought i'd try an ambi mag release. I saw an $80 one made by Norgon, but i was unwilling to spend that much on a part i never really needed. Then i saw this one for $25 from AU and though it was worth the shot. Right off the bat, i can say that this is a quality knock off of the Norgon Mag Release. Upon receiving this part, I noticed that the finish was glossy, but quality, The external geometry is slightly different, where the Norgon appears to have some cuts in the metal to lighten the part. This is a good quality Knockoff of the Norgon Part. This part installed without issues and worked flawlessly during function checks. Releasing a magazine with my left index finger takes about the same amount of pressure as the button does with my right index finger. The magazines dropped freely and positively clicked when inserted. As of writing this review, I have not had any range time, but i believe it will perform well.
