Easy to install and adjust. Does the job of an $80 unit for a third the price.

    Awesome for lefties

Posted by C. Townsend on 15th Nov 2017

I mildly struggle as a left handed AR15 shooter with the magazine release button on the right side of the platform. Its not a terrible deal and the issue is offset by having the bolt catch release in a very convenient spot, not requiring the use of a BAD lever. That being said, the situation becomes exaggeratedly worse when shooting an AR platform with a long heavy barrel such as a 24 inch stainless heavy barrel Grendel. To remove your hand from the hand guards that are supporting the majority of the weight of the weapon to pop a magazine release can cause a tip over event... Ok, a bit over the top exaggerated and comical, but this is a GAME CHANGER for any left handed AR platform shooters. Much cheaper too than having to rebuild a weapon with a fully ambi lower. Thanks Arms Unlimited... Awesome product. Also the button is in a much better position than the competitors that sounds like toy.

Looks like a norgon acts like one too

Posted by chris on 14th Nov 2017

Not sure if its an actual norgon ambi mag release or not. Looks and feels functions and weighs exactly the same. Have not had a chance to do any long term reliability testing yet cause I just got it but it looks to be quality kit

    Awesome product, great price.

Being a left handed shooter it’s difficult to find parts for a reasonable price that enhance the functionality of your rifle, this mag release makes it infinitely easier to reload left handed and the price can NOT be beat.

    Unexpectedly Awesome

Posted by James Hornak on 31st Oct 2017

Bought this piece to test out. Figured for the price it'd be cheap and flimsy however I must say I am super happy with the quality and function. I also thought it would interfere with the bolt catch or accidently drop mags when slung but its low profile enough not to cause these issues. Would I buy it again? Hell yes I would. This is one part I recommend without question.

    Ambi mag release

Posted by Ray on 23rd Oct 2017

Ambi mag release work's great. Just like other brands that are priced much higher. .. I did have to take a little material off with a dremel for it to fit but that's because my billet lower was slightly out of spec. It fit my forged lower without any modification.

Appears to be a well made clone of an Ambi-Catch

Posted by Mel Brooks on 22nd Oct 2017

Looks and feels well made, with a good finish, and dimensionally it fits both AR receivers (I bought 2 of these things) very well. Ran it yesterday in a 2-Gun match: No hiccups of any kind. Held the magazines well, and released on demand. I plan to equip all of my ARs, to include my duty gun, with one of these things.
