    Nice ambi mag release

    Very happy with the ambi mag release from arms unlimited, it’s taken me a while to retrain myself to use it because I’ve been so used to mag release on right side and just adapted as a left handed shooter, when I decided I wanted to get more seribout “tactical shooting” or real world type shooting it became evident that being a lefty really does slow down mag changes so I started looking for ambi solutions, it was between the AU release and the Troy, after reading a ton of reviews on both I settled on the AU release and I am very pleased with it, it’s a bit hard to release a loaded mag on a closed bolt with just my index finger but that’s to be expected, what I found tho is that while a little difficulty it was still easy. And on empty mags with a locked back bolt it’s effortless. I’ve since equipped 2 additional rifles and eventually will do my other one (I’ve got a few) lol.

    This is a well built ambi safety. It is has an "aggressive" build. Its not sparp on the edges. I happen to like it better than other ambi safeties I have. I think it will be a matter of preference if you will truly like it. But it's built very well and worth the money. Hope this helps.

    I was told that Colt is now using AU Ambidextrous Magazine Releases instead of the original Norgon Ambi Release as an OEM Product (I don't know if thats true or not); however, it's a brilliant and very simple drop-in design that allows for ambitious without altering the rifle or the aesthetics. I feel like all M4's/AR-15's should have this feature. Plus, it only take 20 seconds to install. If you get one, you won't be unhappy.

    This mag release has helped me decrease my reload times significantly. A must have for lefties or anybody wanting ambidextrous function. The lever doesn’t protrude outward unreasonably, smooth function, no issues with accidental releases so far, still putting it through the paces on the range.
