    Great ambi mag release. Just swap out the factory with this. Beats Troy’s ambi mag release by not marring the lower finish.

    Almost mandatory

    This thing is easy to install and makes keeping your primary weapon hand at the ready. It's a short hop from popping the magazine to hitting the bolt release, so manual-of-arms becomes very smooth. Not being an instructor, I can't definitely say it's good to train with that *only* but if it's on every rifle you have, why not. Normal mag-release still works, but in the interest of speed, this definitely helps.

    Works exactly as it should but I have 2 of them and they both have different finishes and one is much nicer then the other.

    Being a lefty, i have tried several other ambi mag catch releases and non are as good as this one. I haven't had single problem with this Mag release either. This Mag release loves oil so i keep it lubed with strike hold.

    Its ridiculous that these don't just come standard on all new AR's. If anything, the additional cost would be marginal. Great mag release by AU, you don't need to spend upwards of $50-80 on a mag release. This does the job perfectly
