    This ambi mag release works flawlessly & provides a solid product at an excellent value. AU's small parts are well made and in stock when you need them. Would buy again.

    Had to shave a bit off to smooth out the release

    Installed on an Aero Precision AR15 Ambi lower. This mag release did not provide a consistent release as it would often be hard to push with the tension of the mag. I rounded the edges a bit more allowing for a smooth release. After the modifications I am very happy with this ambi release!

    I typically don’t use ambi mag releases on my AR’s unless they came with it. I have an MPX and an LWRC M6IC that both have them but other than training I simply don’t use them. That said I just finished an 80% billet lower and I didn’t have a mag release handy and saw this one on sale. I’m happier with it than the MPX and M6IC for the fact it doesn’t add any external bits to actuate it from the left side. It’s practically recessed completely flush but leaves just enough to push in and release the mag. Great piece of kit that I’ll use from now on.

    Works absolutely flawlessly! I love that it doesn't take up anymore room then the stock mag release. I'm very happy with this purchase.
