Must Have for your AR15
This OEM ambi bag catch is extremely well made, easy to install and use -- a must have for your AR15 !!

Duty/Issue rifle ONLY finish
Bought two. Machining and function are as I'd hoped. Finish on the other hand is less than acceptable. Would have been a great purchase but the finish issue made me wish I'd just got an original.

Excellent!
Perfect, simple, solid solution for lefty shooters. I have one on every AR I own. Basic design blends right in.

Simple option for ambidextrous use.
The is mag release is a good option for increasing ambidextrous functionality. It’s Simple and well made. Also very low profile compared to other options on the market.

Ambi mag release
For a lefty, this is a great addition to my weapons. Excellent quality and simple installation.

Fine for the range gun, but not reliable.
Has issues retaining gen2 pmags. Sometimes on last round, instead of bolt catching, the magazine drops halfway during that process, resulting in empty chamber and no bolt holdopen. Otherwise works fine at the range.

A value-added upgrade
I already had an ambidextrous fire selector switch but found the mag release to always be on the wrong side when reaching to change magazines. This was a simple, easy fix that works. It is very conformal to the mag well, and now acts more like my pistols, where I can release the mag from the left, or right sides. It took about 3 minutes to change the part. A very practicable upgrade.
