does its job
The ambidextrous mag release was something I was really excited about. I installed the mag release as soon as it came in the mail. It was easy to install. It fit into my Stag lower smoothly and with no need to grind like I have read from others. It installed without removing Magpul Bat assist and didn't mar the finish. I tested it multiple times with full and empty magazines. It worked every time. My only gripe, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is its a little hard to push and having the Magpul Bat assist makes it more difficult. It needs a tad bit more leverage built into the pivot. I would expect any company that makes a part for left handed shooters to expect said shooter would have other left handed assist parts attached to their rifle and to compensate for this. I am hoping, however, that with some use and as it becomes worn in the operation will become a little smoother and easier to use.

Excellent ambi mag releaee
I own several Norgon ambi mag releases, they are the originators of this release. They are fantastic, this AU ambi mag release is a close second and costs much much less. Great option if in the market.
