Lightweight but incredibly strong, the Magpul PMAG D-50 GL9 - PCC is a highly-reliable, 9x19mm Parabellum, 50-round drum magazine for large-format pistols and pistol caliber carbines that feed from GLOCK pattern magazines.
The Magpul D-50 GL9 – PCC boasts many of the proven features of its 5.56 and 7.62 predecessors, the PMAG D-60® AR/M4 and PMAG D-50™ LR/SR GEN M3™, while providing the user with a similar magazine capacity increase. Providing 50-round capacity, the unique drum configuration keeps the height of the magazine manageable, allowing for prone firing and easier storage. For easy loading, it includes a ratcheting loading lever that removes tension from the internal spring.
To keep track of your available firepower, we’ve included a rounds-remaining rear window, a high-visibility follower and a capacity indication roller.
Easily disassembled for cleaning and featuring an innovative bolt hold-open feature, the D-50 GL9 – PCC reliably locks the bolt back on empty when used with firearms designed to lock back on Glock pattern magazine followers.

It's a Thumb Breaker
Basic design is perfect for an AR-9 PDW with one exception - the lever that you are required to depress to load each round is very stiff and requires significant force to depress. After loading 15 rounds or so you need to take a break to rest your thumb. OK maybe I'm doing something wrong but I followed the loading instructions. Maybe a bit of graphite will help. Can't imagine being in the field and having to pause to reload 50 rounds - probably carry 10 or more of these preloaded in a backpack and drop and run as required.

Typical Magpul quality. A little tight in my lower but its the lower not the mag. There was a little tightness with stock mags too.

Magpul Means Quality
I bought this mag because of the horse apple in the oval office. I knew if I ever wanted one, now was the time. Also, Arms Unlimited had the best online price i could find. I have not had the opportunity to use the mag yet, but it's built like a tank. Since this magazine is made for pistol caliber carbines, it fits with the drum closer to the body of the firearm, without the long dangle of a G17 mag. I'm happy with my purchase, and Arms Unlimited is first class.

Works as it should.
Super easy to load, cycles ammo no problem. My only complaint is the angle of the drum makes for an uncomfortable grip on anything less than a 5" handguard if your hands are big. Not a problem if you hold at the magwell.

Great drum mag, easy to load, no issues firing and built well. You can take it apart to clean it, too.
