Factory Colt M4 SOCOM heavy profile, 14.5 inch, 5.56x45mm NATO, carbine length gas system barrel. Complete barrel assembly features M4 feed ramp, barrel nut, fixed front sight tower with sight post, and is threaded 1/2-28 for your choice of muzzle device.

    barrel arrived sealed in a plastic bag from the factory and covered in cosmoline or other gun metal protectant. after a wipe down and some clp the barrel looked like a jewel in excellent condition. has the colt cage code and all of the correct colt markings, these barrels are almost impossible to find now get it while you can.

    I was pleased when I opened it. The finish was perfect. It is 13629 marked. The front sight base is not F marked, but from my measurements it is the height of an F marked FSB. Has the date of manufacture behind the handguard end cap, O mark, etc. Just what I wanted. It is a heavier barrel but the balance was much better than I had anticipated; it was the right decision to go with the socom profile over the gov't, in my opinion. Free shipping took quite a while, but it was over a holiday weekend, though.
