It fits!
I’m running this on the current production M7 with an M5 upper. Fit is flawless. I wasn’t sure if there were generational figment issues - none that I can see.
The factory Colt 901 magazine adapter block conversion kit allows you to install any mil-spec AR15/M4 upper receiver and use mil-spec AR15/M4 magazines with your Colt 901 lower receiver. Includes magazine adapter block, buffer and spring.

Arms Unlimited Comes Through Again
The Colt LE901 Magazine Adapter Block Conversion Kit arrived exactly as advertised. So far the kit enables full functionality between my LE901 lower and five uppers of various makes and calibers with the standard AR-15 takedown/swivel pin pattern/sizes (with appropriate buffer and buffer spring swaps for non-5.56/.223 uppers, of course). There is a little play between some of the uppers and the 901 lower but that hasn't affected operation/functionality after ~200 rounds per upper. I submitted an "Email me when available" request with little hope but Arms Unlimited came through after less than a month! These things are getting harder and harder to find so I may just have to splurge on another if they get them in stock again.
