A great 92FS at an amazing price, but.......
It comes in a silver Beretta box (No Police emblem) with blue foam lined case inside. Comes with 3 magazines, manuals, cleaning rod, blue cup to prevent crushing and of course the pistol. Would give it 5 stars but the only thing indicating this is a "Police Special" is the sticker on the outside box that says "For Law Enforcement Sale Only" over the barcode and the inclusion of the 3 mags. The pistol itself does NOT have tritium night sights (standard white 3-dot) and it does not have the "PS" shield mark on the slide only "PB" in a circle. It also has a more slanted dust cover not the straighter one the Police Special has. in short, this seems more like a standard USA made 92FS with 3 mags which in and of itself is an amazing handgun at an amazing price. Truth be told I was looking to get a 92FS and I didn't necessarily care what markings were on it. But if you want a "true" police special just want you to know what to expect.

Not exactly what I thought I would get
I ordered this firearm with the understanding it was a Beretta 92 FS police special, which as far as I know means a few things: three 15 rd magazines instead of two, Tritium night sights, and special badges. From what I can tell, the firearm I received had none of these features , but did come with 3 magazines. Perhaps some clarification on whether or not it should have had night sights would help this situation. Also, the pistol came shipped in a box, but was ALSO in the classic blue plastic case, which I did not think the police specials came in, so perhaps I didn't get the police special, but just the three magazines. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Excellent price on a great pistol!
The Beretta 92 is a fantastic pistol in terms of accuracy and reliability. I have several of them and have put many thousands of rounds through them in both competition, duty and military service. I have never seen a malfunction in them with the exception being magazine induced malfunctions (all caused by inferior military contract checkmate and airtronic mags). If you use PB, MDS or mecgar mags you'll never have a problem! I highly recommend the beretta for anyone who is familiar with da/Sa firearms and appreciates an all metal firearm.
