Magpul TMAG 30-Round GEN M3 223/556 Magazine for AR15/M4
MagpulThe Magpul TMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a highly reliable, translucent, 30-round magazine for STANAG-compatible weapons chambered in 5.56x45 NATO/.223 Remington. Molded from a durable translucent material with an olive drab hue, it provides shooters the ability to visibly verify various ammunition types and the current round count. Featuring ribbed front and rear straps for improved purchase during magazine changes, the sides are left smooth to enhance visibility.
Like the rest of the GEN M3 family of magazines, the TMAG incorporates similar internal geometry which translates into unmatched reliability when firing. The four-way, anti-tilt follower is paired with a durable USGI-spec, stainless-steel spring with a painted coil, which maintains the “gas gauge” capability from the “Window” magazine product line. The magazine body is clearly marked to show approximate round counts when inserted in a magazine well, and the paint-pen dot matrix allows for custom markings to be applied by the shooter. The TMAG’s low-profile floor plate also allows for compatibility with the full line of PMAG® AR/M4 GEN M3 floor-plate accessories.
The TMAG is optimized for Colt-spec AR15/M4 platforms, but modified internal and external geometry also permits operation with a range of other weapons such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, FN® SCAR™ MK 16/16S, and others.

MAGPUL DOES IT AGAIN
After a speedy delivery from AU I tested one magazine at the range. I fired 360 rounds in total. 90 rounds each across four rifles. The first 270 rounds of Lake City M885 functioned perfectly through the magazine using LMT, Colt, and Daniel Defense rifles. The last 90 rounds used were IMI (Israeli) M193 fired through an older DPMS rifle. Zero defects. The magazine seated, fed, and ejected as it should. Keeping up with your round count is made easy. I hope to test the magazine in high and low temperatures in the future. Knowing MAGPUL quality I am sure they will function well. I purchased four magazines in total. More will be purchased in the future.
