The Colt CM556-11H-CK Upper Assembly is used on the M5 Commando series of rifles. Maximum performance and ergonomics are at the forefront of the M5's design; utilizing a proven carbine length gas system with Colt's free float rail and upper receiver system. This system maximizes rail space and shooter comfort, reducing weight and bulk while maintaining the same lethality and accuracy expected. The barrel is Colt's standard 11.5" chrome lined M4 barrel with an A2 flash hider up front.

    Fine but nothing impressive

    Honestly this is pretty disappointing. The quality is acceptable but not even close to as nice a Geissele upper. The upper came with a few nicks in it, standard BCG, basically a milspec upper as basic as it gets from 2008 quality. Colt really needs to step up their game. The Geissele super duty is hands down nicer for similar price.
