Description
The Colt AR15A4/M16A4 Barreled Upper Assembly is used on current issue M16A4 model rifles as well as civilian AR15A4 model rifles. This upper receiver allows for a free-floated barrel and also features a gas-block mounted fixed front sight post with bayonet lug and flat picatinny top. The barrel is Colt's standard 20" chrome lined M16 barrel with an A2 flash hider up front. No BCG included.

  • Unique direct gas operating system eliminates the conventional operating rod and results in fewer and lighter components
  • Accommodates the full range of 5.56mm ammunition, including the NATO M855/SS109 and U.S. M193, utilizing a rifling twist of 1 turn in 7"
  • Straight-line construction disperses recoil straight back to the shoulder, increasing handling capabilities, especially during repeated fire

    if you are a good Colt owner and as any good Colt owner, have a minimum of a new Colt bolt/carrier assy, several actual Colt bolts, a spare Colt charging handle...you would be looking for a handy place to store those parts. What parts cabinet could be better than a Colt A4 upper new in box, and minus only bolt/carrier and charging handle, for $350?!....if you also have that fall-back carry handle, you are in 20" CAR A2/A4 heaven.....missing not a thing else, handguards, sights, dust cover, just PERFECT. As usual, this outfit a little slow out of starting gate awaiting known accessible parts, and minimal expense spent on packing milsurp spare parts, whether chunked bare in tyvek mailer, or an upper carton simply wrapped in plastic and mailed, but you WILL get the genuine Colt parts, or ACOG, or nightvision, you ordered...just be happy you can get them at all, and at such great prices...
