Colt IAR 5.56mm Upper Receiver Assembly | 11.5" Barrel

My Upper never came with an h3 buffer kit or manuel, But it did arrive intact (more important) in brand new perfect in everyway condition. With a beat up box no blems or inconsistent anodizing, reports of blue anodizing and other shipping mishaps, had alot of these seen tragically as dead on arrival, made me understand to not get greedy and should this restock. I won't be grabbing a second if it ever does so. Shooting 300 rds of federal 5.56 and 100 rds of federal .223 with a colt m4 roll marked sbr A5 equiped lower, a5h2 is the bare minimum, A5H3 and CArbine H3 are required with this upper shooting suppressed with an surefire rc2 and a surefire mini 2 ejection patterns were 2:30 and 3:00. Unsuppressed with an a5h2 with green springco, the heat sink is no joke on these uppers and I never experianced heat from my barrel like even my 11.5 hbar barrel'd colt upper does or any other center rifle piston or di before this IAR. This is the pinnacle achievement of 5.56 commando uppers, at the risk of QC and shipping damage, along with collectors scalping intact uppers for 4 times this price. whom they recieved from the first initial orders. This upper is priceless in my eyes as nothing I could machine or build would come close to this level of pedigree or performance. Buy one if you under stand the high risk high reward of this once in a life time opportunity you only live once and sometimes you win big and sometimes you lose big, regardless stand proud you own something nearly as alien as the surface of mars where I am sure some of these may see one day.

Mine came, finally (not AU fault but Colt according to them) and came with multiple scratches thru the anodized coating down to the metal. A very cool piece, but pretty bummed mine came blemmed. Still, cool piece, and Colt is known for dings and dents. While there was some frustration on alot of this deal, AU was solid, but kinda mid feeling on how it turned out
