Schmid Ambidextrous Semi-Auto Safety Selector | Short/Long

Schmid is an OEM supplier for Colt which I have some of these on some of the higher end Colts (LE6920 SOCOM, AR15-A4, etc). The long and short on the other side work best for me personally but other people may want the long/long. For $15 as of the time of this writing or whatever it is, this is a steal and I've bought these again and again.

These are a steal at 15 bucks. I have FN, Colt and BCM ambi selectors. The Schmid is just as snappy as the FN and Colt’s at 1/3 the cost and half the cost of a BCM and has far less play. I bought a couple of them and I’ll be buying a few more! If you want a cage code or a star which you need a magnifying glass to read pay more. I’ll stock up on something of the same quality and same functionality. Great job AU of bringing another great product at a fantastic price.

If you are looking for a colt or fn style usgi ambi safety for a clone build, or just the convenience and practicality of having one, look no further. We have 3 of them. Look and work great so far.

They work nicely. I got seven of them.

The selector doesn't sit perfectly horizontal while in the safe position. Other than that it works as advertised.
