    Ordered two. One was the original dark charcoal gray with slight chalky appearance and was what I was looking for on an M16A2 retro build. The other one may not have been Colt. Gloss black with raised aggressive back ribbing.

    This is a good grip. However, it is not the chalky, Colt, F-marked grip. It is the correct shape, however. Good checkering. Shiny. I ordered this same product earlier this year and those were Colt F-marked chalky grips.

    Its an original grip. I like the A2 grip because it feels right. Used that grip my whole life. Colt grips are not slippery like others.
