Great trainer
Like stated you have to do some fitting. I have a PSA Ak-103. Every .22lr conversion kit I own has been fitted to the corresponding firarm. First trip out it jammed every 5 rounds, after 100 rds it got better. But I could not run a whole mag withouta few problems. I can better study where things need to be polished or filed to fit after some wear. I Polished the extractor, I noticed it would constantly be out of battery because the extractor had a lot of machine marks. Also the bolt face, the back of the case was a bit too small and so the case wasn't seating correctly, I have widened that out and the rounds are seating properly. And final item was the firing pin. The firing pin was protruding too far out of the bolt face, literally punctured the rim and worse would fire when the bolt was released. I filed that down to where the firing pin was below the bolt face. All this of this sounds scary, but it can work with patience. Mine has a manufacturer date of 2019, I hope the newer manufactured models of this kit are better. I am a certified gunsmith with over a decade of experience. And so now it works great! Hundreds of rounds later and no hiccups. I enjoy shooting my ak and enjoy 22 kits.

22lr AK kit
It does work but it’s not for a novice you have to work it to get it to work also note that you need CIP high pressure ammo and the bore is too tight at first and needs to be adjusted by a gunsmith the extractor tends to blow out I will say the flaw is not in the design it self but the machineing of the product was not executed well this not angry review i understand it is a $200 kit but it does need work not good out of the box that being said after that the product does work %60 of the time but for the price and the fact that 22lr is difficult to deal with im genuinely pleased with it and the idea of you could please make improvements and updates that would be awesome im not mad pls do buy it it keeps these guys in business but pls pls do update it thanks very much if you do improve it I suggest you guys use better materials like molly steel and chrome it I would not mind paying $400 for a product like this if it worked %80 of time because I know 22lr is hard to deal with and is dirty that being have a nice day

AK22 conversion kit
This is an outstanding kit. It functions flawlessly, and is well-made, and packed nicely. Wish the magazine was steel, but the nylon/plastic mag is sturdy as well. Time will tell if it holds up. Be sure and thoroughly clean and lube your 7.62 original barrel to ease the 22 liner insertion into the gun. Buy a big box of 22 lr. and have a blast. It makes your AK fun and cheap to shoot at the range. And fellas, find us some steel mags for this baby. PLEASE. :>)

AK .22 Conversion Kit
Took a wee bit of fitting with a Dremel to get the bolt carrier to seat in my PSA AK, but it runs like a scalded ape. I'm very pleased.
