Description:

Sage International has modernized the M14 / M1A with their Enhanced Battle Rifle Chassis. Featuring picatinny rails, pistol grip and a telescoping stock, this stock dramatically alters the look & feel of your M14 / M1A.

Chassis

  • Chassis is precision machined from a solid billet of high strength aircraft grade aluminum.
  • Standard M14 and M1A actions are easily installed using existing M14 tools, making the conversion a true drop-in.
  • Rigidity of the chassis increases accuracy and reliability.

Operating Rod Block

  • Precision machined from ordnance grade steel and designed to interface in close tolerance with the aluminum stock chassis.
  • Additional stock bedding is eliminated by the op-rod block being joined to the chassis by three 1/4" screws and the standard trigger mechanism.
  • Increases reliability and tighter groups.

Collapsible Stock

  • Straight line recoil decreases muzzle jump and felt recoil.
  • Adjustable length of pull facilitates the use of body armor and stock fits for all shooters.
  • Full size soft recoil pad.
  • 1913 Picitanny rail above the pistol grip is engineered to provide close eye relief for night vision modules.
  • Thumb release facilitates fast and easy opening.

Sling Mounting Points

  • All sling mounting points are steel.
  • Three ambidextrous 1-1/4" sling slot locations:
  • Movable front plate.
  • Ambidextrous sling position located between the chassis and the collapsible stock, above pistol grip.
  • Rear ambidextrous sling mount at the butt end of the collapsible stock under the cheek rest.

Adjustable Cheek Rest

  • Robust glass filled polymer full contour cheek rest.
  • 2" vertical adjustment in 1/4" increments.
  • The cheek rest is field adjustable, using the tip of a 7.62mm bullet.
  • Convenient self stowing tensioning wrench releases cheek rest for adjustment and eliminates cheek rest movement when in its stowed position.

Sighting and Optical Mounting Surfaces

  • All mounting surfaces are Mil-Spec 1913 Picitanny Rail.
  • 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock rail.
  • 6 o'clock rail.
  • 12 o'clock one piece machined top with integral rail.
  • Collapsible stock main body-1.75" 1913 rail.

Detachable Forearm

  • Formed KYDEX construction.
  • Easily removed from stock chassis.
  • Built in palm swell.
  • Minimizes heat transfer generated by high firing rates.
  • Accepts Sage International, Ltd. vertical foregrip when the detachable forearm is mounted.

WILL NOT WORK WITH A LUGGED RECEIVER FROM SPRINGFIELD. WILL NOT WORK WITH HEAVY-WEIGHT BARRELS.
Stock features the five-screw top cover & ERGO Grip.

    I've had this stock for 5 months now and still no real complaints. It seriously helped in both making my life more accurate and handle better. Everything on it has seemed to work well and has held up. My only real complaint is the lack of instructions for putting the stock together, which means you'll have to research if you need help.

    really nice chassis, dramatically changes the look of your M1A/M14. it's a bit of a pain in the butt to install but it's defiantly worth it.

    The enhanced battle rifle stock that I had purchased is machined perfect and great quality. The only issue I had is they sent me the wrong item the first time but I had no problem getting it returned and getting the right item sent out. I didn't like that I couldn't physically talk to nobody because the phone number was busy but when I emailed them they emailed right back and took care of the problem.

    Got my stock in quickly and installed it, I absolutely love it. Very tight fit and closed my groupings even more on my M1A 6.5 Creedmoor

    It’s really nice. M1A fits like a baby inside. Stocks do make a difference; especially the ones that have gone through a lot of thought. This chasis by Sage International is by far the best stock the M1A has come in contact with.

    I had never heard of these folks, or done business with them before so I was very hesitant and skeptical that they had what I wanted for about a 100$ less than everyone else. I did a little checking and took a chance and they delivered on time in full fast and furious. They had the ebr stock which others did not and for less and I got it in days w/o paying extra for expedited shipping. Now my rifle is at the gunsmith’s getting a new bedding, barrel, gas system, trigger and other mods and it all started w the fast delivery of the stock so I can get it back quickly as well, thanks the Budman...
