OOW M240-SLR 7.62mm Belt-Fed Semi-Auto
The OOW M240-SLR is dimensionally identical to the M240 and is able to integrate into any M240 mounting system. The most noticeable difference between the M240-SLR and M240 machine gun is that the SLR fires from a closed bolt. Many of the internal parts of the firearm have been redesigned allowing for civilian ownership, introducing an entirely new breed of M240.
The accuracy gained from the closed bolt system combined with the controllability of the semi automatic fire mode, and large ammunition capacity means this is a great choice for defensive positions and security checkpoints where collateral damage is of great concern.
The bolt and trigger groups are new and not interchangeable with the original M240. These parts are all manufactured by OOW at their ISO certified facility under stringent standards. Barrels are manufactured in house and are proof fired, magnetic particle inspected and tested for function and accuracy.
The M240-SLR requires only two tools to break down the firearm, all other actions such as barrel changing, loading and feed cover functions remain the same as the original M240.
Includes: crew served weapons tool, brass hammer, sling with hook assembly, ruptured cartridge case extractor, custom fitted hard case, parts pouch and 2,500 M13 links.
