The Gentex TACAIR Advanced Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Respirator System was specifically designed and tested to meet stringent performance specifications by the Department of Defense. The state-of-the-art system respirator provides world-class levels of protection for F-15, F-16, F/A-18, and other fixed wing pilots. The respirator system simultaneously provides CBRN and Pressure Breathing for Altitude (PBA) / Pressure Breathing for Gravity (PBG) protection. It also seamlessly integrates with other mission essential equipment such as optical equipment and Gentex helmets, oxygen masks, optical and communications devices. The comfortable lightweight system is completely man-mounted and requires no aircraft modifications or power.
