Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the FN MTL-30 (Multi-Purpose Tactical Launcher – 30mm) is a soldier-portable, semi-automatic, medium-velocity, flat trajectory grenade launcher that enables warfighters to engage targets at multiple ranges with more effective payloads over existing technologies. This is a robust solution for close combat and long-range (out to 500 meters).
The FN MTL-30 is chambered for 30mm medium-velocity grenades and features a detachable box magazine with 3- or 5-round capacity. At just 35 inches in length and 8.5 inches tall, the weapon weighs just over 10 pounds.
