Colt IAR 5.56mm Upper Receiver Assembly | 11.5" Barrel

I have to say, I was cautiously optimistic about this after reading a few reviews. I had previously purchased a 6933 upper receiver several years back from AU that arrived missing a substantial amount of parkerizing on the barrel, it was essentially shining bright unfinished metal. AU’s response was “contact Colt”….Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and finish. It was in the original Colt Box and pristine. I also grabbed a SCW lower receiver and again have no complaints about it. Being that Colt IAR’s are listed in the 3-4k range from a lot of distributors, I call this a win and a great deal from AU

So disappointed in AU and the way they handled this. My upper was shipped out in the original cardboard box zero padding and when it arrived looked as if someone threw it off the end of a trailer and hit so hard it chipped the end of the receiver and bent the charging handle main body as well as the T-handle. AU’s response was to take it up with Colt it was their cardboard box. Thankfully COLT made right and repaired the upper. They also confirmed they ship these uppers on pallets which are then shrink wrapped and are NOT shipped to AU individually in a cardboard box. If AU is going to ship these in a cardboard box I expect there be some kind of packaging to cushion or keep the upper from moving around in a cardboard box with 9” of play inside it. Take care of your customers AU!

Great quality and service from Arms Unlimited

Mine arrived quickly, and I was not disappointed at all… It is absolutely perfect. The only handling Mark was the box had a divot in it. The upper was absolutely perfect original packaging, and had a blue colt. IAR carbon manual in it as well. . A couple surprises. The charging handle is a radiant raptor colt marked charging handle. The backup site on the rear is a magpul BUIS… I was expecting a MATECH. I can’t emphasize enough how good the quality was. This upper is absolutely perfect in every way… Based on the pricing that people are gouging for these on the gun webs… I feel like I got a value priced Moonrock upper that will be enjoyed for quite some time… If you’re a colt guy, you have to pick these one of these up. Much thanks to arms unlimited for finding and featuring these great products at a very good price.

These are the things that come along and you have to buy them while you have the chance. Amazing piece!! My last 2 purchases from ArmsUnlimited have been some of the fastest and best service I’ve ever had online! Bravo AU!!

Hard to review when this has been shipped for over 2 weeks and gone no where. Emailed in twice and can’t even get a response.

Another unique and top natch product from AU. The upper was in perfect condition I great collectors piece.

Missed out on first batch. I'm glad I was able to get this one. The cardboard box was a little banged up, but the upper is perfect. It comes in a blue bag with a barrel wick, Colt IAR manual, and magpul rear iron sights. Looking forward to seeing it run hard.

This hard-to-find item was fairly priced and shipped promptly. Packaging could have been better to prevent damage, but I would buy from Arms Unlimited again.
