    The precious

When you have a system gassed to “reliability with all ammo” but want to tune yours to your particular ammo, a buffer is a simple way to complement the gas system length

    H2 Buffer

On a scale, it weighs 4.6 Oz, which is the correct weight. Slows the action down to where it should be. Makes shooting much smoother.

    It's a H2. What can I say?

It's a Colt H2 buffer. Runs perfectly in my LE6920 Law Enforcement Carbine with stock spring.

    Colt H2 marked buffer!

Posted by Cav Trooper 19D on 28th Jan 2019

AU provides exactly what they say! 100% Colt new H2 buffer. Specifically wanted H2 marked. So not to confuse buffers when changed. Clear bumper not yellow bumper. Colt buffer face roll/punch H2. Not dot matrix style sold by Colt too. Both are 100% acceptable. I did take it apart. Was that bumper tight! ;-). Correct weights n pads. Weighed first, but the weights werent knocking independently. Seemed like solid piece. Figured the oil made a hydraulic lock on weights n pads which prevented the intended knocking momentum. Took out and just put them back in. Probably from storage or something. Kept the oil on weights and pads. Now they float independently knocking together with full momentum impact. Part of having buffer is to lessen bolt bounce. Not just dwell time n cyclic rate. The roll pin was slightly longer on both ends of buffer cylinder which is dead on Colt! Not flush. Exactly what i wanted to see! Fantastic AU! Thank U for the fair price n incredible free shipping

Replaced an H buffer with this one in a 14.5 carbine. Works great.
