Colt 6920-EPR 5.56mm Enhanced Patrol Rifle Upper Receiver Assembly | 16" Barrel
Colt
The Colt LE6921-EPRCK Upper Assembly is used on the LE6921-EPR Enhanced Patrol Rifle. This upper receiver allows for a free-floated barrel and also features a full-length Centurion MLOK Handguard. The barrel is Colt's standard 14.5" chrome lined M4 barrel with an A2 flash hider up front.
Some of these older reviews for this upper from 2020 era reference that Magpul Pro back up iron sights are included. But BUIS are NOT included with this upper in 2024. The item description is accurate (apart from the fact that a "manual" was not included with mine). Nothing more than what is in the description is included with this upper.
Bought for an SBR Colt M4 lower. Took to range for forst time this weekend, much more accurate than I thought it would be for a 14.5" barrel (only 100yds). No jams, even suppressed. Like the Magpul metal popup sites, and really impressed with free floated barrel with Centurion Arms Mlok handguard. If you want "100% Colt," a great buy. Very impressed.
Just received this upper and it is really nice. It is a Colt Cage Code Keyhole Receiver and Cage Code barrel. The Centurion Arms MLok rail uses YFS screws which isn't a big deal but I plan on swapping them out. The finish on the receiver itself looks like Knights Armament did it, there is a purple-ish tint to it and looks like the RAS rail on my issued rifled when I was in the Marines. Their seems to be some sort of issue with the coating itself because it looks like stretching in the coating around the forward-assist. The BCG: the carrier is not C marked, the Bolt is MPC marked with no white-dot. The charging handle has no markings on it either and the barrel, as mentioned, is Cage Code with MP 1/7 marked carbine length and the gas block is a shaved FSP and a standard birdcage. The included Magpul Pro backup iron sights are pretty solid.
