The Beretta 1301 Tactical is a gas operated semi-automatic shotgun designed for law enforcement and home defense. Several integral improvements have been made in response to feedback from the marketplace. Beretta has redesigned the bolt release lever to allow for a more solid function and eliminating the chance of a double feed. Beretta also added an aluminum picatinny rail on the receiver in order to support heavier optics.
Right out of the box, the 1301 Tactical features an oversized charging handle, large textured bolt release, and an oversized reversible safety button. The integrated BLINK gas operating system, featuring a cross tube gas piston, allows the 1301 tactical to cycle 36% faster than any other shotgun on the market. Available in an 18.5" barrel configuration, the 1301 Tactical features a robust, protected sighting system that uses a ghost ring for the rear sight and an interchangeable front blade sight. The receiver offers a MIL-STD 1913 picatinny rail. The Stock features an aggressive checkering pattern and length of pull is adjustable with the provided spacers. Drop and Cast can be adjusted as well.

Service second to none
After several email exchanges with Agnes, I was able to satisfy all my concerns about my purchase. Agnes went above and beyond helping me with the order form which was being shipped to an FFL. Once ordered it was shipped the very next morning, and was received by the FFL within one working day. After waiting for nearly two years for availability I was more than ecstatic to finally find the Beretta 1301 Tactical! Again I can't say enough about how great Agnes was promptly responding to my emails and making everything come together!

Product received but a minor paperwork issue
Overall good experience, in the end I received my gun. The only issue is whoever actually processed the shipment forgot to include receipt, so when the FFL received it they never called me because there was no proof of ownership. After finding the receipt in my email we were able to work it out, but that did cause a bit of an initial issue.

Very light
So far fit and finish is great, the shotgun is extremely light and aftermarket support is growing for it. Excited to eventually get a free weekend to take it out to the range.

1301 tactical LE
While the buying process was seamless setting up an ffl was not as easy as on competitors sites. Item was as descibed and shipping was slow but they had no control over that. Overall it was a good transaction and i would not hesitate to do business with again.
