Developed from the operational experience of the Magpul Dynamics team, the Magpul B.A.D. Lever (Battery Assist Device) is designed to considerably improve the speed and efficiency of the AR15/M16 bolt catch. The Magpul B.A.D. Lever quickly addresses reloading and malfunction clearance shortcomings of AR15/M16 platforms by extending a paddle to the right side of the weapon, allowing manipulation of the bolt stop from the fire control/ready position with the right-hand trigger finger.
Made from milspec-anodized aluminum, the Magpul B.A.D. Lever attaches to the standard AR15/M16 bolt release without permanent modification to the weapon. Functional for both left and right-handed shooters, the B.A.D. Lever also allows traditional bolt catch manipulation according to the AR15/M16 manual of arms. All mounting hardware included.

- Easy attachment to the existing bolt catch paddle via one screw

- Finished with MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2 hard anodizing with manganese phosphate on the screw per MIL-DTL-16232G
- Torx mounting screw with Nyloc Blue patch prevents back out under recoil (Torx wrench included)

This is my second BAD Lever for my second AR. You dont know what your missing until you put one of these on your AR. Now for everyone i build I include the BAD Lever in it.

The Magpul BAD lever is well built and easy to install. It makes the bolt release easy from both sides. I find it helpful in many ways.

Had what I was looking for, when I wanted it.
Arms Unlimited carries the variety of products that a recreational DIYer like myself needs. Even with national stocks of the BAD lever I wanted waning; they had it at a reasonable price. The shipment was fast and very affordable with not bogus fees.

Excellent AR accessory
Aside from some Dremel work to make the rear attachment fit better against the receiver, this accessory makes bolt lock easy and chambering just as easy. It's so logical to have it, that the AR design probably should have had it in the first place.
