The Colt Combat Unit design was guided by US Special Forces Trainers whose tactical expertise delivered a gun equipped to handle and shoot with the highest levels of control, accuracy, and reliability - the rest depends on you. The matte black DLC coated stainless steel frame is corrosion-resistant and EDC-friendly. Custom G10 grips and 25 LPI checkering provide steady traction all around, and an undercut trigger guard and upswept beavertail safety command proper hand placement for accuracy and recoil control. Front and rear angled slide serrations and an extended magwell support quick reloads, while Novak sights quickly form an uncluttered sight picture. Colt's Series 80 firing system and National Match Barrel ensure safe and precise shooting.

    Been trying to find one of these since they were announced to join my 6960 CCU. AU accidentally shipped me the wrong gun but were very quick to send the FFL a return shipping label and promptly shipped me the right gun. The fit and finish is beautiful, no rattling when you shake it, Magwell looks like it was milled with the receiver, trigger is very smooth.

    Very nice pistol. As advertised with the exception of one thing, it did not come with a magwell installed. The pistol I received didn’t have the magwell installed and in fact, it looked like the main spring housing was from a different gun all together. It was a stainless color and not even black to match the rest of the gun. I contacted Colt and they were surprised that the gun left the factory that way and offered to RMA the gun and install the magwell for me. I instead told them I could install it myself if they could just send me one and they did. Other than that the gun is as advertised. Happy with my purchase.
